Each new student is enrolled in this orientation training module and is required to undergo basic computer education training before being allowed to use the computer systems.
The contents of this training module are all basics of computer training. This includes how to start and shut down a computer, use the mouse and keyboard to perform commands, use different applications, access the network and the internet, create, and manage files and folders, and so on.
Such topics are commonly taught in a classroom setting where the instructor interacts with the students and provides personalized help, but our expert trainers also conduct these lessons online.
The orientation training also includes lessons about computer security, virus protection, and software applications. Security measures include teaching users how to create secure passwords, how to ensure their data is backed up, and how to protect their private information when online.
Orientation training is tailored according to the level of proficiency of each student, making sure that every student can understand and learn the fundamentals of computer use. Furthermore, it helps students develop their skills in computer use and also builds their confidence in using computers without any fear of making mistakes.
